High Accuracy Topography

Monitoring a project related to the structure and equipment with regard to assembling the fuselage and the flooring of the Airbus A320. The main goal of this project was to raise the production capacity, to optimalise the precision of the gauging device and to improve the working conditions. This was achieved by replacing the gouge’s engines to assure their final position with more precision and efficiency and without loosening. The precision of all elements affecting the geometry of the aircraft had to be adjusted within a specific tolerance value and had been verified with the latest ‘Laser Tracker’ technology.
